My role as “TA”

During this course, I learned how to manage older students around the age that I want to teach in the future.

I got the opportunity to teach tool safety and shop procedures at the beginning of the semester which gave me another chance to review these things for myself and to practice for future tech theatre classes. Throughout the semester, there were weekly planning meetings to check-in on our progress in building the set pieces, and what is the best course of action for this week’s class. I was also in charge of retrieving construction drawings for each project as we finished.
